already has what seems like every NSIC offer in the conference on his roster sheet, the tape is so dang exciting, as well as dynamic, and the size, coaching at Marshall, and big-play ability are all so enticing that PRZMN thinks there’s a chance Craigmile’s recruitment doesn’t end inthe Northern Sun. Although I don’t think he camped anywhere last summer – so no athletic times, the kid made up for. itduring the season, helping the 2025 state 4A semifinalists with 42 tackles, 6 TFLs, 3 sacks, 1 FF, 3 fumble recoveries, including one for a TD, 1 INT.
The OLB/EDGE owns incredibly advantageous length, and the opening clip of his junior tape shows an Andrew Van Ginkel-esque INT and read where he flows out towards the edge and steps in front of a would-be hitch, fully extending up in the air to pluck the ball out of the air for an outrageous INT. The second play shows a beautiful sack from the backside of the LOS, unblocked, wherein Craigmile lays a brutal, bone-crunching sack on the blindside of the QB, who helplessly does not see it coming for even a split second. The kid has eye-popping closing speed and defensive range. He gets downhill and closes on ball carriers in a blink, which is a frightening sight when a 6’3, 210 lber. is bearing down on you with that much pace, and he’s laterally twitchy, which helps when defeating and working through blocks. Craigmile – acting as a RB – displays electric contact balance and elusiveness in the open field, which created some explosive, dazzling broken tackles and big gains as a ball carrier. He even has reps of him creating separation at the top of the route, fully extending, climbing the ladder, and reeling in catches through DBs looking to lay the wood and defending with tight coverage, as well as landing on his feet post-catch and through contact before quickly accelerating and getting to the endzone in a blink.
However, the best work comes on defense, where Craigmile can dip and rip through large, experienced OTs and blocks. He can drop his hips, run the hoop, and bend when needed, as well as beat OTs to either shoulder, and is a brutal, productive blitzer and strong tackler who naturally works for the turnover. Craigmile has a great rep of him dipping and ripping through an OTs inside shoulder, before sticking his cleat in the turf and exploding down the LOS to run the RB down in a great display of acceleration and speed. He defends the edge with proper leverage and naturally works his arms and length up into passing lanes, owns game-breaking speed as a ball carrier, and has multiple reps showcasing some excellent play speed from the LB position and for his size. If the athletic data and measurables can match the speed, twitch, explosiveness on tape, this kid is a D1 LB or EDGE. Pay attention to Marshall this Summer Camp SZN!
