Jakari Matchem Jakari Matchem 5'9" | 150 lbs | WR McCracken County | 2028 State KY jumped onto our radar with a very impressive sophomore season. He finished the year as his team’s leading receiver, hauling in 80 passes for 1,239 yards and 21 touchdowns in 12 games. Matchem is a very reliable deep threat, using his speed to create separation and then showing the ability to look in passes to make catches without breaking stride. He is also dangerous after the catch, showing the speed and elusiveness in the open field to turn short passes/screens into big gains. Matchem also made an impact on defense this season, recording 24 tackles and three interceptions (tied for team lead). Jakari doesn’t currently hold any offers but he is a player who college coaches should definitely have on their radar moving forward.
