He has demonstrated his ability to read a quarterback’s eyes, anticipate throws, and make plays on the ball. Sturm’s speed helps him stick with receivers downfield, and he doesn’t make it easy for a quarterback to throw around him. It’s also worth noting that reports indicate he will receive a larger role in McCracken County’s offense this season. Defensively, he appeared in 10 games and logged 56 tackles and an interception as a sophomore, and also contributed on special teams.
