Jaiyon Lewis Jaiyon Lewis 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/ATH Harrisburg | 2026 State PA is a player I have watched and followed for the last several seasons, as he has played well for Harrisburg. As a 2026 class, he currently does not have a home to play at for College. He still came and balled out at the 7-on-7 tournament. As a defensive back, he showed great man-to-man skills. He made several impressive plays. Then, as a wide receiver, he was a big play machine. Catching anything and everything. Lewis is a talented prospect who should eventually find a home to play at the next level.

Jaiyon Lewis Jaiyon Lewis 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/ATH Harrisburg | 2026 State PA is one of those elite athletes who is impossible to tackle one-on-one. He caught two touchdowns in this game. The 1st was a great route by Lewis. He ran a perfect wheel route and dove and made a spectacular catch. The other touchdown was a go route, and he outran the defenders for the touchdown reception. He also plays as a quarterback, but he was used sparingly in this role during the game. Lewis is a dynamic athlete, and he showed that in this game.

As a quarterback, he is a dynamic runner. He is great with the ball in his hands as he makes defenders miss in space. He can throw it as well. As a wide receiver, he shows off his speed to run by defenders. Harrisburg will need to use Lewis all over the field to help them get the win over Central York.

Ranking Level: Right where he should be

He exploded onto the scene last year as he played quarterback for Harrisburg. He could still play quarterback this year, but it is also likely that he will play as a wide receiver for the Cougars this season. My boss, Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA , nailed it where he should be, but with a strong senior year, he could rise in the rankings.

STANDOUT TRAIT ON TAPE: Mobility, Improvisational Skills

Harrisburg’s Jaiyon Lewis Jaiyon Lewis 6'0" | 170 lbs | DB/ATH Harrisburg | 2026 State PA ‘s standout trait is an obvious one, I’d go as far as to call it his calling card. Opposing defenses will have to gameplan for Lewis the dual-threat weapon. Lewis has the quick twitch, the mobility skills to not only escape a pocket in a hurry, but also leave would-be tacklers in his dust. I saw Lewis live against Cumberland Valley, although he and the offense struggled, I came away impressed with the athlete he is behind center. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him be recruited to play WR or DB, this not to say he isn’t capable of garnering attention at the QB position. Lewis can deliver strikes when his vision, feet, and pocket are clean, his tape proves that.

A watch list quarterback, one filling in for Pitt-commit Shawn Lee. Lewis has sophomore tape readily available, he should have been evaluated and ranked in the off-season, this an oversight on my part. Despite the rough showing against Cumberland Valley, both from what I’ve heard, and witnessed on Hudl, Lewis has done enough to earn a spot on our lists.

6’0, 165 pounds. Has dabbled with the DB and wideout positions prior to his stint at QB. Lewis doesn’t have a first-three, mid-season, or full-season tape out yet on Hudl, yet he has his first five single-game cut-ups available. I know he’s better than what he showed against CV while I was on the sideline. So I decided to take a quick look at tape against Bishop McDevitt.

*Operates out of a spread look, has a number of weapons to throw too. Is a confident passer when in rhythm. Can hit hitches, slants, and curls accurately. Goes with the be and flow of the game, needs to work on staying consistent in the pocket (mechanics and footwork). Consistently working on the small things would boost his accuracy and timing, resulting in a more productive offense. Has a high ceiling, especially in terms of productivity. Has the willingness and range to attack a secondary vertically. Has some stud wideouts to work with, so the kid has no problem giving his guys a shot. If he can read the first 15 yards well and deliver balls with conviction in rhythm, this offense can hum.
