A snub for Top Five post-event honors, in my opinion. A two-way player who deserves D2 attention, this on the back of his tape and in-person performances.

Back-to-back 4.56 40 YD Dash times, a fantastic number for a future collegiate DB. 6’0, 160 pounds.

Smooth glider and transitioner. Best compliment I can give Central’s Connors is his consistency in all areas of his game. He’s even-keel, burst out of his cuts, can sink his hips low, and still maintain balance post-burst. Great route runner, transitions from pass-catcher to playmaker easily, this thanks to his DB/KR/PR background. A current Top 300 player in my eyes, his performance this past Saturday will only help that notion stay true. Everything Connors did, he made it look easy. It might be why he was snubbed from Top Five consideration, he was certainly worthy of accolade. A three-level winner on tape and post in-person eval. I’ll plug his name as much as needed moving forward.
