A snub for Top Five post-event honors, in my opinion. A two-way player who deserves D2 attention, this on the back of his tape and in-person performances.

Back-to-back 4.56 40 YD Dash times, a fantastic number for a future collegiate DB. 6’0, 160 pounds.

Smooth glider and transitioner. Best compliment I can give Central’s Connors is his consistency in all areas of his game. He’s even-keel, burst out of his cuts, can sink his hips low, and still maintain balance post-burst. Great route runner, transitions from pass-catcher to playmaker easily, this thanks to his DB/KR/PR background. A current Top 300 player in my eyes, his performance this past Saturday will only help that notion stay true. Everything Connors did, he made it look easy. It might be why he was snubbed from Top Five consideration, he was certainly worthy of accolade. A three-level winner on tape and post in-person eval. I’ll plug his name as much as needed moving forward.

Jaiden Connors Jaiden Connors 6'0" | 160 lbs | ATH Central | 2026 State PA is someone who caught my eye during the entire showcase, as he stood out all day. He ran in the 4.5s in the 40s during testing, which is super-fast. Then the 4.5 shuttle, which is also an impressive time. He then had an impressive 8’10 in the broad jump. Connors also showed tremendous skills as a wide receiver, running routes and catching the ball.

Jaiden Connors is a tough/stud receiver for Central High School in Philadelphia and he had maybe the best catch of the day which you can see below. I have stress to you all that last Saturday it was frigid cold, rainey and even snowing, that should tell you all you need to know about how tough that catch he had with one hand.

Jaiden Connors Jaiden Connors 6'0" | 160 lbs | ATH Central | 2026 State PA is one of those twitchy, great athletes who are hard to find. His ability to run routes and get in and out of break is impressive. The other part of his game is he runs excellent routes. He is a smooth routes runner, and I like how he uses his body to make subtle moves from his receiver position. He also shows good skills as a defensive back as he played cornerback last year. Connors, with a good Senior year, should be in the mix to play College Football.
