More of an interior player, he was credited with 32 tackles (6 solos) last fall. Anderson’s go-to move appears to be the swim. He identifies when an offensive lineman has too much forward lean and can use his leverage against him. Anderson also utilizes his athleticism to his advantage. We often see him appear to overset his gap, only to rip back across the face of the offensive lineman who has shielded him, beating him, and making a play. Anderson would benefit from extending and locking out his arms more frequently. Creating separation will allow him to see things develop more clearly, quicker.
