He consistently beats press coverage with clean releases, showcasing the fluidity and suddenness that separate elite receivers at the high school level. Once the ball is in his hands, McDuffie becomes a space-problem, his elusiveness, acceleration, and top-end speed allow him to turn routine screens into explosive gains.

This season, McDuffie put together one of the state’s most dominant receiving performances, leading Maryland with 1,183 yards and 16 touchdowns.

McDuffie has been one of the top performers in this state at the wide receiver position. He’s caught 50 passes for 1,183 yards (23.7 yards per catch) and 16 touchdowns. He’s gone for 100-plus yards receiving in 7 games, including this past week in a 31-28 win against St. Charles (seven catches for 104 yards and one touchdown.

McDuffie made a few big plays downfield, including a fade ball that he caught from 20-plus yards out over his shoulder for a touchdown. He’s a glider down the field and got a lot of separation against St. Charles’ cornerbacks.

He is one of two talented wide receivers on South River’s roster (see Xavier Dowell). Per his post on X, McDuffie has caught a touchdown in 19 straight games.

McDuffie and his teammates will play Guilford Park this week.

Jaden is a prospect who will be on the rise this offseason and he just picked up his first offer a few days ago from Georgetown Univ. I got to get eyes on Jaden earlier this season in South River’s game against Arundel; and even though is was a tough day for South River Jaden was still able to make an impression.

Jaden finished the season with over 1,200 yards receiving, which set a school record and had 17 TDs on the year. He is a tall long big WR, standing 6’3″ and with a frame that will fill out well with strength. A basketball player as well he show the ability to go up and high point the ball with nice body control & ball skills, finding it in the air and beating the defender to come down with the catch. A dangerous deep ball threat, Jaden is quick to accelerate past DBs and has shown some impressive route running as well. With Jaden’s combination of size & athleticism, many more schools will be coming out to see him and with intentions to offer.
