About Jacoby

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Im a true pocket passer with smooth elusiveness under pressure. Possesses a strong arm and delivers the ball with consistency and accuracy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a positive and resilient player with a strong leadership presence. I always put my team first, and try to carry myself with humility. The most important thing to me is staying grounded in my Christian faith.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved in my school’s Bible Club and Spanish Club, and I serve on the Dream Team at my church, volunteering in the youth rooms during services. I also give back to my community by helping at every football and baseball youth camp hosted through my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my involvement at school, church, and in sports, I’ve developed compassion for others and a natural ability to teach and support younger students. My dedication and work ethic show in everything I do, and I’ve learned how to adapt, stay positive, and bounce back from challenges with resilience.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I faced was tearing my meniscus, which required surgery and put me out of sports for 6–8 months. I missed my entire high school and travel baseball season, which was tough both physically and mentally. But I committed to my rehab, stayed disciplined, and worked hard every day to make sure I could return in time for football. The experience taught me resilience, patience.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that’s the right fit with a supportive and committed coaching staff. I want a program where I can continue to learn, grow, and develop as both a player and a person. Being part of a positive, team-oriented culture is important to me, as well as attending a school that offers the academic program and education I’m pursuing.
