is a player that has been high on my radar for a while now and continued to impress on Friday. He lined up at safety where he showed an impressive ability to fill the lane and get to the ball carrier in a hurry. Once he got the ball carrier, Oliphant proved to be a very reliable tackler in the open field. Jacobi finished the game with a team-leading 11 tackles. He also played a key role on special teams, returning a kickoff for a 98-yard touchdown. Oliphant currently holds multiple Division I offers and I expect more to come his way as he is a very talented safety prospect.

has been producing in all three phases already this fall. Jacobi’s versatility flashed again during SLUH’s dominant win last Friday. The defensive back prospect showed value as a kick returner and also earned a sack blitzing the quarterback off the edge. Jacobi’s range and balls skills shined in pass coverage, but next level long speed was on full display as he ran untouched into the endzone after picking the ball off late in the game. Jacobi received his fifteenth offer from Missouri State this week, and I would expect coaches around the Midwest to recruit the talented defender up until he commits.

is an incoming senior defensive back that truly stood out to me last season. He finished his junior year with 51 tackles and two interceptions. Oliphant lines up at safety where he is very reliable in pass coverage. He does a great job of reading the quarterback and breaking on the ball with perfect timing to make a play on the ball. Jacobi is also reliable against the run, showing the ability to come downhill and make tackles in the open field. Oliphant currently holds several Division I offers and I expect him to have a very productive career wherever he decides to play at the next level.

is a college ready defensive back out of St. Louis. With great size and secondary versatility, it is no wonder Jacobi holds thirteen scholarship offers. Jacobi recently attended camps at Nebraska and Kentucky, and I would not be surprised to see that list of thirteen keep growing before 2024 gets here.
Jacobi shows a rare combination of size and range in the way he tracks and attacks the ball from deep zones in pass coverage. Next level speed shows running jet sweeps on offense or in pursuit as a backside defensive back. Good physicality and a fluid change of direction shows getting in phase when playing press man coverage. With good length and athletic ability, Jacobi has the potential to play any position in the secondary at the next level.

Arguably one of the best and most well rounded defensive backs in the entire state of Missouri,

has been a two way varsity contributor since his sophomore year. The Saint Louis University High School product uses every inch of his 6-foot-5 frame to blanket his assignment, nullifying them for as long as he sees fit. If quarterbacks do take the risk and throw at Oliphant, he punishes them for it, closing the distance between his receiver and snagging the ball out of midair before they can do anything about it. Despite his long frame, he has a surprising amount of strength, and can square up stout, powerful running backs on his own and pull them to the turf. A complete player through and through, Oliphant already has plenty of FBS interest, and his senior year should only serve to increase the buzz around his name.

stood out to me. Oliphant has played some corner but lined up at safety for the most part on Friday and was very impressive in pass coverage. He showed the ability to pick up receivers out of the slot and run with them in man coverage, staying in their hip pocket as he mirrored their routes. Jacobi also showed great route recognition skills and was able to read the quarterback and flow to where the play was going. He was also able to use his speed to cover ground quickly on the back end to put himself in position to make plays on the ball. Jacobi currently holds offers from Connecticut, Boston College, and Alabama A&M, and I expect that list to grow as he is a true Division I talent.
