Jacob is a dual-threat QB to watch as he enters into his senior season for Kettle Run. He has good pocket presence with good set up and footwork with a good feel for pressure. He is able to utilize his foot quickness and agility to move in the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield. Good accuracy in all throws, throwing his receivers open in stride and placing the ball only where his receiver can make the catch in traffic. Good arm strength with good zip on the ball, with good touch and an understanding of when to add and subtract velocity on the pass. Good scrambling ability, and will hold on to the ball as long as possible, keeping his eyes downfield looking for an open receiver while facing pressure.
