Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'm an aggressive playmaker who uses my elite speed to create mismatches on both sides of the ball. As a receiver, I stretch the field vertically and turn short catches into big gains. On defense, I play physical press coverage and have the closing speed to make plays all over the field. I pride myself on being a dual-threat athlete who can change the game in an instant
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I'm a laid-back guy off the field, but I flip the switch when it's game time. My mentality is all about maximizing my strengths to help the team win. I'm a strong, confident player who leads by example and pushes myself to improve every day. Despite my individual talents, I'm a true team player who puts the group's success above personal glory. I stay cool under pressure but bring the intensity.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I'm an active member of SASO (Student Athletes Serving Others), volunteering on community projects and with the Miracle League for special needs baseball players. I also teach fishing to kids and assist coaches in my local youth football program. These activities allow me to give back to my community and develop leadership skills off the field.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Through sports and volunteering, I've developed strong leadership skills, often guiding younger players. My community service with SASO and youth programs has instilled a sense of responsibility and empathy. Teamwork is second nature to me, honed through football and collaborative volunteer projects. These experiences have taught me to communicate effectively, and adapt to various situations.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Sophomore year, I faced a challenge when with a strained lower back early in track season. The injury wasn't season-ending, but it required careful management and forced me to adjust my playing style. I had to learn to listen to my body, balance rest with recovery, and adapt my training regimen. This taught me the importance of injury prevention, proper body mechanics and patience in healing
What type of college are you looking for?
I'm looking for a college that offers the best of both worlds - strong academics and competitive athletics. Specifically, I'm interested in a school with an excellent business program, particularly one that emphasizes entrepreneurial studies. This aligns with my long-term career goals and desire to develop business acumen alongside my athletic skills.
