He looked more comfortable as the drills went on and started to string together cleaner reps late in the day. It was a tough, steady showing that reflects a lineman who just keeps working.

Powers brings elite length and a developing frame that projects well at the next level. He combines good feet with solid technical ability and a strong punch at the point of attack.

He is effective in the run game and shows flashes of high-end upside as his body continues to mature. Already holding an offer from SMU, Powers is a long-term prospect who has a high ceiling.
