Continuing to rave about this kid until he gets the attention he deserves. Dual-threat QB that is a legit game changer both on the ground and through the air. Really good speed and is a true big play threat as soon as he gets some space to work with the ball in his hands. As a passer, LaDuke continued to show that loose, twitchy upper half with a smooth release to finesse those tougher throws in with accuracy. A very athletic kid all around that should be on your radar as he enters his senior season with tons of potential moving forward.

is technically sound in a way you don’t always see at the high school level — when his feet are set, the mechanics are clean and the ball just jumps out of his hand. On the move, things can get a little loose, but it doesn’t really hurt him because the arm talent is real and he can drive it to any corner of the field. He’s not just a thrower either; he’s a legit dual threat with enough wheels to punish a defense that gets lazy with contain, and that’s where Snowflake gets scary because you can’t overplay one side of his game. The best part for the future is he already plays like he understands the “why” behind the offense — stay on schedule when it’s there, then take the shot or the scramble when you’ve earned it — and that’s exactly the kind of profile that usually takes a big jump going into the next season.

LaDuke is a very impressive player and holds all the potential to lead Snowflake to a state championship this fall. Another dual-threat kid that I’ve been raving about for about a year now, as he can change the game with his arm or legs. Excellent poise in the pocket to stand tall, cool, and collected while frequently making decisive reads. He’s shown the ability to hit throws with both velocity and touch as well. Toughness is off the charts- as stated before, he possesses that “It Factor”. Very good runner with good top end speed and vision with the ability to make a cut and take a run to the house, or put his shoulder down and fight for extra yards.

I talked about LaDuke a few weeks back, and he comes in at the top of the QB’s here in 4A based off his film. He possesses those leadership traits and that “It factor” you look for in a big time player. Smart, high motor kid that plays with a chip on his shoulder and is a true dual threat QB that should be on your radar ASAP. He checks all the boxes and looks as if he will be able to fit into nearly any scheme, providing that Snowflake offense with a ton of versatility heading into 2025- as he lit up 4A his sophomore year throwing for over 1,000 and rushing for over 1,000, ultimately leading Snowflake to a 10-0 regular season record and a semifinals appearance as a sophomore.

LaDuke is a kid with a ton of tools in the box and projects to have a breakout Jr. year. I’m impressed with his poise, toughness, and demeanor in the pocket at his age- as he does a great job staying cool and collected to deliver accurate throws while knowing he’s going to take a big hit after delivery. Excellent all-around field vision to either identify favorable matchups and deliver throws with timing, accuracy, and touch- but also does a great job on the ground as he’s an instinctive runner with deceptive top end speed where broke loose for numerous big plays. A true playmaker with a good football IQ moving forward, and I’m very interested to see how he continues to develop.

‘s development has been really steady — exactly what you want to see in a young quarterback. Snowflake didn’t ask him to do too much too soon, which allowed him to grow into the role. In fact, he didn’t have a single game with 20 pass attempts, and six of his games were under 10 attempts. That kind of measured approach is paying off. What stands out most is his toughness. LaDuke has no problem standing tall in the pocket, even when he knows a hit is coming. He’s taken some big shots, but he pops right back up and keeps slinging it. And don’t overlook his speed — once he gets into open space and hits his stride, he’s hard to catch. With grass in front of him, he’s a threat to take it all the way. It’s clear he’s got the tools and mindset to be a serious difference-maker.

LaDuke flashed his dynamic playmaking ability throughout his sophomore season on his way to being named the 4A East Sky Offensive Player of the Year and leading Snowflake to a 12-1 record. At 6’0” 185 lbs. the game and position come naturally for him. He’s a plus athlete with above average quickness and a natural sense of timing in his movement and as a passer. Good ability to navigate the pocket, extend the play, and evade rushers and uses his mobility as an asset to avoid pressure and create plays on the fly. Plays hard and tough showing he can stand in the pocket and deliver with defenders closing in and absorb contact to avoid sacks and break tackles when carrying the ball. Checks in as the tenth ranked QB in the 2027 class and #52 overall.
