King has an explosive first step, he has a quick get off at the snap of the ball, he runs the arch with excellent speed and he closes on the ball carrier with violent intentions. Jacob has violent hands, his powerful punch at the point of attack enables him to stun his opponent and King plays with great leverage. At 6’1 235, he has the frame of an edge rusher or 3-4 outside linebacker, but his versatility allows him to play any position along the Steele defensive line and wreck the offensive game plan. King had a dominant 2022 season, making First Team All-District on an 11-1 playoff team, racking up 63 total tackles with 6.5 sacks. Jacob is a disruptive force and schools are taking notice, with UNLV and Penn to name a few colleges who have reached out for visits and extended camp invites. King will no doubt find a college home come signing day in 2024.
