About Jacob
Expert Analysis
Matt Morrow | Prep Redzone Scout
Jacob probably made the two biggest plays of the game for the West Team in securing their 25-20 victory. The East Team had consecutive 3rd and 4th downs from the 1-yard line late in the 4th quarter with a chance to take the lead, but Jacob knifed in the backfield quickly on both occasions to stop the play before it even got started. Jacob isn’t the biggest defensive lineman, but his quickness is special off the snap at times, and he showed it in the biggest moment of this game. Harding didn’t have a great season, but this will be something that will always be remembered in Queen City Senior Bowl history.

Jacob is a high-energy player who gives his all on every snap. He can play a variety of positions on both offense and defense, but he was named All-Conference as a defensive lineman last season, and his quickness off of the football is disruptive to offensive linemen consistently on Friday Nights.

Jacob scored a rushing touchdown in the 3rd quarter for the Rams and also provided some strong blocking when inserted as a lead blocker in the Wishbone attack at times. On Jacob’s touchdown run, a short dive play, it was clear he wasn’t going to be stopped and ran with nice power and purpose. Jacob also played some defense and did a good job keeping East Meck at bay on the defensive line.
