Jamarcus is a power back, and in these settings it can be tough to show what you do best if that’s your strength. But what I think Jamarcus did do was prove that he can hang in there with the more speedy and slippery type backs in general. Jamarcus is also a defensive lineman for the Rams, so providing that added value is always a good thing, plus colleges can look at you first and kind of get a feeling where you best fit with their program also.

While it’s been hard to find consistent success as a runner, Hariston has done well as a sophomore. He’s a big, bruising back who operates out of Harding’s wishbone. He may grow into a linebacker or interior defensive lineman, since he plays both ways, but we like him a lot as a running back right now.
