Liberty may have fallen in week two in a highly contested matchup with PikeView, but 2027 OL Jacob Akers Jacob Akers Jacob Akers 6'2" | 290 lbs | OL/DL Liberty-Raleigh | 2027 WV and his fellow linemen did a great job up front for the Raiders. Both teams saw success in the ground game, and Akers set the tone from his left guard spot. He did a great job pulling and firing out of his stance with quality quickness and was physical at the point of attack. Akers has good size in the 6’2 290 range and should be a name in the 2027 class to monitor moving forward.
