Matthews had a massive game on both sides of the ball in Reno’s 25-19 season opening win over Palo Verde on Friday. The junior RB/LB racked up 216 rushing yards and 4 total TDs and posted 10.5 tackles and 2 TFLs in the win. He’s a physical playmaker on both sides of the ball that looks improved athletically and should continue to produce at a high level for Reno. Matthews is a top-100 prospect in his class.

Great start to the season with a 25-19 win over Palo Verde in Las Vegas. Looking forward to Foothill next week. Here are some game highlights.
