Laguna Beach quarterback Jackson Kollock Jackson Kollock 6'4" | 220 lbs | QB Laguna Beach | 2025 State CA announced his commitment to Minnesota last Thursday.

Kollock committed to Washington in October but re-opened his recruitment when coach Brett DeBoer left the school to Alabama.

He took an unofficial visit to Minnesota last weekend and committed on the spot.

Kollock has a college level frame and the ball jumps out of his hand nicely. He had solid showings at the Elite 11 and Under Armour Next Camp.

He is the third player in Minnesota’s 2025 recruiting class and the first player from California.

Kollock passes the eye test when you see him and looks like a college quarterback already.

A coach I talked to praised Kollock’s footwork in one of the drills and he uses his body to drive the ball down the field.

Kollock is uncommitted after withdrawing from Washington in January.

Kollock made a big jump in the overall rankings and lands as our #6 ranked QB in the state. At 6’4” 215 lbs. he’s a pure passer with ideal size, length, and frame for a major D1 QB. He’s a savvy and instinctual athlete with a great ability to improvise and create. Very smooth in the pocket from his footwork and pocket mobility to his over the top release. Throws off a tall and well-balanced platform giving him good velocity and accuracy to all three levels of the field. Does a good job mixing up speeds and layering the ball over second level defenders. Really like his ability to maintain arm strength and accuracy both to the perimeter and on the run to either direction. Excels as a passer but can make plays with his legs on designed runs and when protection breaks down. Threw for almost 3,200 yards and 41 touchdowns with a 123.2 QB as a junior. Originally committed to Washington during the 2023 season but decommitted when the coaching staff made the move to Alabama. Currently holds nine D1 offers.
