Jack Van Dorselaer
About Jack
Expert Analysis
Marcus Henry | Prep Redzone Scout
Jack has a powerful build with an extended reach, he has large, strong hands that attack the football and he has a large catch radius that he uses well to extend and pull in catches away from his body routinely. He lines up inline and in the H-Back position in the Southlake offense, he is a ferocious blocker with superb technique that plays with great leverage, he is strong at the point of attack and he finishes blocks with violent intentions. Jack runs clean routes with superb footwork and he has great short area quickness that enables him to get free and beat defenders in the open field. He has the speed to separate at the second level and this makes him a reliable target that can turn a short gain into six points. He committed to Tennessee early this offseason and he is one of the top returning tight end prospects in the class of 2025.
