About Jack

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a physical, athletic, and technically sound offensive lineman who plays with a high football IQ and leads the line. I finish blocks, create running lanes, and compete with toughness every snap.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a high-IQ player who understands the entire offensive line scheme and leads by example. I’m not flashy — I focus on doing my job, playing whistle to whistle, dominating cleanly, and moving on to the next play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Part of our school's Advanced Broadcasting class and do morning announcements for Kirtland High School. Volunteer every year to teach football camps for the youth in our community. Have earned multiple Positive Behavior Referrals from teachers for helping others and doing the right things. Volunteer every summer for Safety Town in our city to teach the youth how to be safe.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve played football for 10 years and have been a team leader every season. Growing up with my dad as a coach taught me the value of leadership, teamwork, and bringing out the best in the players around me. Community service is also important to me because I looked up to older players who gave back and stayed involved in the community, and I want to continue that tradition for the next generation.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As a freshman, I was challenged by stepping into the starting lineup on a team expected to win a state championship, which pushed me to quickly adjust and play at a higher level. As a junior, I faced another challenge when I suffered an ankle injury that kept me out for 10 weeks. I worked hard to recover, returned for the state semis and championship, and helped lead our team to the title.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a Division I FBS school with strong finance or business programs that will help me achieve my goals both academically and athletically. I’d prefer to stay in Ohio or the Midwest, but I’m open to other opportunities that are the right fit.
