Jacobs was always near the top of the statistical leaderboard the past two seasons and had a strong senior season. He threw for 3,302 yards with 33 touchdowns with seven interceptions.
Western Illinois gave Jacobs a scholarship offer. Fresno State’s quarterback room got smaller with Jake Haener going to the NFL and Jaylen Henderson transferring.

Jacobs was a multi-year starter at St. Francis and led the team to great playoff success.
He had a great senior season with 3,302 yards with 33 touchdowns and just seven interceptions in 14 games.
His release is a little long and slow compared to a lot of quarterbacks which may have some schools weary, but he is 6-foot-5 with solid athleticism and a good arm.
Western Illinois is the only Division 1 school to offer him and if he goes there, he would be a good addition to the QB room.

This season, St. Francis may need to lean more on its senior quarterback to put up points.
Jacobs completed 19 of 34 passes for 384 yards and five touchdowns in a 52-48 win over Mira Costa.
I expect Jacobs to be near the top of the Southern Section passing leaderboards all season long.
