Donnelly’s athleticism was front in center at the SBU prospect camp.

He ran in the 4.6 – 4.7 range in the forty yard dash and boded well in the broad jump and the 5-10-5 split. But everyone really wants to know how the quarterback’s threw the pigskin; short answer is Donnelly performed exceptionally. He has great touch on deep passes, and plenty of zip on short and intermediate passes. In all the quarterback drills conducted Donnelly was one of the best at having a pretty quick release and ball placement.

Donnelly can really toss the ball, and shows plenty of promise at moving the football with his feet as well.
