With his big frame and reliable hands, he doesn’t need much space to make a play — and he proved that throughout the day. He consistently made tough catches through contact, showing not only physical strength but the focus to track and secure the ball even when defenders were draped on him. What really caught my attention was his footwork and movement for a guy his size. Jabari recorded the fastest L-Drill time among all wide receivers over 6 feet tall, which says a lot about his agility and ability to sink into breaks. He used that to his advantage in short and intermediate routes, where he worked his feet cleanly and kept defenders off balance. He’s not the type to create five yards of separation downfield with speed — but he doesn’t have to. His body control, catch radius, and strong hands make him a tough cover even when DBs stay close. With the tools he already has and another year of development ahead, Jabari looks poised for a really productive year in 2A. He’s a physical presence with technical polish — a combo that’s going to cause problems for defenses all season.

Thomas can impact the game in a variety of ways in all three phases. At 6’0” 180 lbs. he flashes explosive playmaking ability being able to stretch the field vertically and make high level plays after the catch. Plus ball skills, he attacks it in the air with confidence and consistency. He’s able to use his leaping ability and extension to compete for the ball at the high point and pull in tough contested catches in traffic. Adjusts well to ball flight and tracks it all the way into his hands. Turned eight of his 24 receptions into touchdowns finishing with 539 yards while averaging over 22 yards per catch. Added 34 tackles and three interceptions on defense. One to watch going into his senior year.

Thomas showed great year over year improvement throughout his junior season on both sides of the ball at WR and DB. At 6’1” 185 lbs. he’s got good natural ability and flashed explosive playmaking potential with the ball in his hands. A good downfield threat that can stretch the defense and create separation. Plus ball skills and ability to adjust to ball flight tracking it all the way to his hands. Extends well to compete for the ball at the high point. Like his strength to fight through contact and bring in contested receptions in traffic. Eight of his 24 receptions turned into touchdowns while averaging over 22 yards per catch. He’s got good momentum going into his senior year after being named First Team All Region.

At a nice frame of 6’1 185lbs, he showed tons of athletic traits at the showcase that you love to see. The best one was his routing running, as he lined up in the slot most of the day to display his craftiness and ability to create separation from the inside. He ran impressive routes down the seam of the defense, able to find space and locate weak spots in 7v7. He also has excellent acceleration and agility to finish off plays as well for scores. Heading into his senior year, Thomas will certainly be someone to watch out for both ways, but look out for him especially at the receiver position.
