Montoya is an under the radar quarterback who excels at the intermediate passing game. While still refining his accuracy and working to limit turnovers, Montoya has the tools to develop into a strong signal caller. His ability to escape the pocket and extend plays is an asset, particularly in redzone situations where he rushed for 154 yards and five touchdowns. Montoya’s ability to dissect defenses with short to midrange throws allows him to move the chains efficiently. However, consistency in decision making will be his biggest focus this offseason.
