London High School Class of 2028 recruit Isaiah Near Isaiah Near 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB/RB London | 2028 State OH put a great stat line during Week 8: 9 carries, 88 yards (9.8 AVG), 2 tds, 3 solo, 2 ast, 1 TFL, 1 interception, 3 PBUs.

In Week 7, Class of 2028 quarterback and defensive back Isaiah Near Isaiah Near 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB/RB London | 2028 State OH had a great game on offense; as a RB he had nine carries for 250 yards and three touchdowns.

Isaiah is a versatile piece for the London program. He can play as a nickel and strong-side safety on defense and as a running back on offense. He’s a strong run defender who never seems out of place. He tackles well fundamentally and hits with pop. Offensively, he runs with good contact balance and makes quick decisions on what hole to hit. In London’s heavy-option offense, Isaiah can chip in as a lead blocker.

Isaiah Near Isaiah Near 5'10" | 185 lbs | DB/RB London | 2028 State OH is a very good all-around outside linebacker and safety prospect. Near takes great angles to the ball against the run, wrapping up behind the line-of-scrimmage and displays good range and closing speed. I love Near’s abilities in coverage, as he does a great job of dropping back and timing the ball with his hands to break up passes. I wouldn’t be shocked if his recruiting takes off during summer college camps.

Near was a dominant force for the Red Raiders all night. He forced a fumble and picked up the recovery, got a sack on fourth down, and had two tackles for loss on key third downs. He was a pain for the Alder offense.
