Jordan Reyes | Prep Redzone Scout
Massey had an outstanding junior season going for 68 receptions, 1,021 yards, and 17 touchdowns. 6’1” 185 lbs. he shows elite coordination and hands, tracking the ball cleanly from release to catch point. Routinely makes tough acrobatic or one handed grabs to showcase that ability. He understands positional leverage and the technique to attack the football in the air at the high point using timing and body control to win. Demonstrates a wide route tree and a good variety of moves to create separation at all depths of the field. Good ability to mix up tempo and speeds to get defenders off balance and out of position. Explosive after the catch combining his short area quickness and long speed to break away in space. Earned his first offer from Oregon State in late January and should see a big bump in recruitment going into his senior year.

Isaac Massey Isaac Massey 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR ALA-Gilbert North | 2027 State AZ has a way of taking control of a game without ever looking rushed or frantic. As a receiver, he glides through his routes with smooth acceleration and sharp breaks, creating separation that’s tough to match in man coverage. He finished 2025 with 68 catches for 1,021 yards and 17 touchdowns. The production alone is impressive, but it’s how and when it comes that really defines him — big moments, key downs, playoff situations where the ball keeps finding him. He’s just as impactful on the other side of the ball too, picking off six passes and contributing in the return game, which speaks to his overall feel for the game. Massey doesn’t rely on one flashy trait; it’s the combination of polish, body control, and instincts that make him so difficult to deal with.

Isaac Massey Isaac Massey 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR ALA-Gilbert North | 2027 State AZ was everywhere in this game, making his presence felt on both sides of the ball. The junior two‑way playmaker hauled in five catches for 87 yards and a touchdown, then flipped to defense and picked off two passes that swung the momentum to ALA Gilbert North. What makes him special is how naturally his length and timing translate no matter where he lines up — he high‑points fades as a receiver and then flips around to drive on out‑cuts as a corner, always looking in control. His footwork and agility allow him to stick with speedy wideouts through their routes, and when the ball is in the air he breaks on it fast and aggressively, finishing plays with clean form tackles in space. On offense, he’s got the kind of speed that can flip the field in a single snap, giving his team a true game‑breaker. It was the kind of all‑around performance that makes him a nightmare to prepare for and showed just how valuable he is to his team.

Massey should have a big role on that explosive ALA-GN offense after putting up over 1,000 yards receiving on 75 catches with 13 TD’s last year in that 13 game span. He’s a fluid route runner with loose hips and shows a good football IQ to recognize and sit in those soft spots vs zone coverage. Good top end speed and twitch with the ability to get shifty and make opponents miss after the catch. Excellent body control with the ability to adjust fluently and make those difficult grabs at the turf or go up in the air for those acrobatic catches.

Massey possesses a complete skillset that combines his natural ability and technique. At 6’1” 175 lbs. he’s a high caliber athlete that can create separation any where on the field. An advanced route runner that does a great job mixing up speeds and accelerating out of his breaks. Confident with his hands at the catch point, he extends to play the ball away from his body and shows he can make difficult receptions outside his framework. Excellent after the catch he’s got both short area quickness and long speed to be elusive in the open field. His cuts are sudden and explosive to make defenders miss. Was a 1,000 yard receiver as a sophomore on 75 receptions with nine touchdowns. He’s a solid D1 prospect and will shoot up rankings and recruiting boards going forward.

Isaac Massey Isaac Massey 5'10" | 155 lbs | WR ALA-Gilbert North | 2027 State AZ might only be a sophomore, but he’s already playing like a seasoned veteran for ALA Gilbert North. Massey’s 2024 season was defined by his ability to find a way to get open and move the chains when it mattered most, finishing the year with an impressive 1,039 receiving yards. Massey’s incredible route-running precision and spatial awareness make him stand out right away. He has an uncanny ability to sense where defenders are, where they’re going to be, and exactly where he needs to position himself to make a play. This awareness doesn’t just help him find soft spots in coverage; it also makes him a nightmare to tackle once he’s got the ball in his hands. Massey’s two-sport athleticism — he also plays basketball — really shows when he’s on the field. His moves after the catch have a basketball-like quality, almost as if he’s crossing defenders over on the hardwood, leaving them grasping at air. One of Massey’s biggest games came in the playoffs against Cactus, where he hauled in 12 receptions for 175 yards. His ability to stretch the defense and create opportunities for his team was on full display, even in a narrow loss. With two more years ahead of him, Massey is poised to become one of Arizona’s premier receivers and a key leader for the Eagles moving forward.
