Kalubi Lukuni, out of Paul Dwyer, is a physical and violent defensive tackle prospect who was the MVP of the JV team last fall but has been a consistent top performer on Team Ontario and the OSFL. He is really quick off the ball and plays with good leverage and strong initial hand placement. He is the most refined pass rusher of this group showing on tape really good bend and the ability to generate a lot of strength around the edge of IOL and as he fights through double teams. Between his natural strength and the bend and athleticism he shows in his movements, Kalubi Lukuni is one of the top defensive linemen in all of Canada, regardless of his class.

Isaac Kalubi Lukuni Isaac Kalubi Lukuni 6'2" | 260 lbs | DL Monsignor Paul Dwyer | 2027 State CAD has a ton of film from his time with Team Ontario this past year and the defensive tackle checks off multiple boxes of a prospect who can play at the next level. Kalubi Lukuni has good upfield burst and shows impressive quickness and change of direction. He is strong at the point of attack and has a strong lower half helping him hold his ground against double teams. As a pass rusher, Kalubi Lukuni often wins with his quickness and low pad level while he utilizes his ability to bend to finish the quarterback. Kalubi Lukuni does a good job of getting into the backfield and has some impressive athleticism traits, if he can become a more consistent finisher against the run he will continue to round out his game and showcase why he is one of the most impressive interior defensive linemen in Ontario.
