The workhorse out of Grantsburg is still out there on the hunt for his college home. The 6′ 205 lbs senior has the frame to match his workload from 2024. Ian brings a very well rounded game. He can carry the ball between the tackles, break tackles with his contact balance and leg drive. The senior is able to get out of the backfield and catch the ball, then get up field and make plays in space. Burkman also has enough speed to crush a defense when he gets into the open field or outside of contain. Ian proved he was a productive playmaker in 2024 while helping Grantsburg make a run to a State Championship Game appearance. Check out the highlights from the senior RB.
