About Hunter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play safety with a mindset of being the leader of the defense and the last line of accountability. I take pride in my ability to read offenses, understand formations, and anticipate plays before they happen. I focus on reading the quarterback, recognizing route concepts, and reacting quickly so I can make plays in the passing game. I play physical, controlled, and aggressive.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I play the game with a focused and determined mindset. I take every rep seriously because I know preparation shows up on game day. I’m the type of player who wants to learn, improve, and compete every single day, not just when it’s easy. Off the field, I carry myself with respect, discipline, and strong character. I understand that how I act every day represents my family, my team, and my program.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play football, basketball, run track and I am on the school fishing team. I am also a member of FCA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a teammate, I try to be a leader by example and through communication. I have built a strong sense of discipline and work ethic. I've developed into a player who is disciplined, focused, coachable, and team-first.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that will push me to grow both on and off the field. I want to be part of a program where I'm challenged every day to become a better player, student and person. Football wise, I'm looking for a competitive program with strong coaching. Coaches who will develop me, hold me accountable and help me reach my full potential.
