SUMMER SURGE FINALE: July Standouts and Prospects to Watch

<p>The final report of the series is here. We take a look back at the month of July/summer workouts and highlight some standouts. We also provide prospects to watch for the upcoming 2026 season after their off-season development and rise. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">JULY STANDOUTS:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1926077' first='Isaiah' last='Howell'] is a running back to add to the recruiting board with a big season ahead. He has opened up his team's offense not only in the running game but also in the passing game this summer under their new head coach. Howell displays solid post-snap vision with the burst to attack the running lane quickly. He's been dominant on the camp circuit, flashing his physicality once again and his ability to consistently contest at the catch point. He's a vertical threat, stretching the field with good foot speed and solid over-the-shoulder ball tracking. He racked in 13 receptions for 324 yards and six touchdowns. He's poised for a major breakout season. Overall, he is a smooth route runner with solid stop-and-go ability. He is an extremely athletic quarterback who's coachable on and off the field, which was noticeable at the SFA and Tennessee Tech camp this summer. Benson displays good pocket mobility and awareness, which allows him to evade pressure effectively. He's a physical defensive end/edge rusher for Osceola. His recruitment has taken off, earning offers from Arkansas Tech and OBU. He displays solid post-snap vision at running back, effectively locating running lanes with patience and attacking holes with good burst. Eldridge can evade defenders due to his fluidity and lateral quickness. He's a solid route runner with good foot speed and shows solid mental processing to find voids in zone coverage and settle for his quarterback, especially at intermediate levels of the field and in the red zone.
