How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hard hitter for frame, fast and agile

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I strive to be better than anyone that lines up in front of me. It doesn’t matter if they are in Highschool, college, or even Nfl I’m still there to compete.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved into TCO 7v7, Multiple sport athlete including football, basketball, and track.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership skills come hand to hand with wanting it more than everyone else and trying to get them to want it as much as you do. So if a teammate messes up, my team and I, make sure to go lift their head up and make sure they forget about it.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I tore my ACL and MCL and was told I may not play sports at all again. Now I’m persevering through that and using it as motivation with my now healed up body.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for any college that is interested in me and has a good education for me as well.

Hershfeldt measures in at 5’10 170-pounds, playing WR/CB for Sterling. This past season, he had 30 receptions for 557 yards with 5 touchdowns, 12 receptions for 107 yards with 2 touchdowns, 57 total tackles (37 solo, 20 assisted), and 4 PD. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, jumping, and good change of direction. Good release at the line of scrimmage paired with very good separation quickness. Good ball tracking and catching. He has very good ball adjustment and body control. Does a great job high pointing the ball in contested situations. Smooth and controlled back pedal as a DB with fluid hips to match the receiver breaking into the route. Very good timing on pass break ups and closing quickness. Hershfeldt is an exciting player that I’m looking forward to seeing more of!
