turned heads at the recent Prep Red Zone NEXT showcase with his explosive quickness and natural playmaking ability in the secondary. At 5’7″ and 165 pounds, Ford brings a compact, twitchy build that allows him to play much bigger than his listed size suggests—particularly in coverage and run support. Ford consistently displayed outstanding footwork during position drills and 1-on-1s. He fires out of his stance with minimal false steps and changes direction sharply, allowing him to mirror receivers effectively through breaks and transitions. His lateral agility stood out in short-area quickness tests and shuttle-type movements. Ford showed reliable hands and strong instincts when the ball was in the air. He tracked throws well, attacked the football at its highest point in several reps, and demonstrated the ability to high-point or undercut routes without losing balance.
Despite the height disadvantage common for smaller defensive backs, Ford played with notable confidence and physicality. Ford’s combination of twitch, fluidity, and ball production makes him a disruptive presence in man or zone coverage schemes. He projects as a nickel/hybrid defender or boundary corner who can contribute on special teams early while developing into a reliable starter.

, a 5-foot-9, 165-pound running back in the Class of 2030, grabbed people’s attention during the testing portion of the camp. He turned in the best time in the pro shuttle (4.35 seconds), the No. 2 time in the L-drill (7.06), and was third best in both the 40-yard dash (4.95) and the broad jump (8-10). He held the ball high and tight throughout the event and was fundamentally sound during drills in the “Indy” portion of the camp when he was grouped with other running backs. Ford also excelled when he was used as a receiver during one-on-one passing drills. He was selected as the camp’s top running back and attends Malden (Mass.) Catholic High School.
