I really like the potential and upside of Man offensive lineman Houston Ellis Houston Ellis 6'2" | 300 lbs | OL WV who enters our 2025 Rankings as the #82 overall player and the #13 ranked OL. The 6’2 300 guard was a PRZ WV First Team All-State selection this season and should return as one of the top big men at the Class A level in 2024. It’s always tough to judge linemen talent at the small school level given the level of competition in the trenches there, but Ellis could start for a lot of teams in the state. He has good athleticism for his size and shows it when he’s pulling and blocking in space and getting to the second level of the defense. Man will also line him up as a fullback in their heavy packages at times showcasing his athleticism even further. Ellis is a physical run blocker who had 30 pancakes this season as a junior and has great feet. He’s still a raw prospect in some areas but don’t overlook this big man in the smallest classification in WV.
