South Johnston | 2026 StateNC. With 22 touchdowns on the season, Langston has been the Trojans’ ultimate workhorse—tough, reliable, and relentless from Week 1 to now. He’s the kind of back who gets stronger the more touches he gets, and when the offense needs someone to settle the moment or spark momentum, he’s the first name called.
But tonight is different. Tonight, South Johnston walks into a matchup with Seventy-First, one of the most complete teams in the state—and to pull off the upset, Langston will need the game of his life. He’ll have to punish the defense early, break tackles, extend drives, and create those explosive runs that quiet the crowd and flip the pressure.
He’s capable. He’s produced all year. And he has the competitive edge to rise when everything is on the line.
Because of where he’s located in the state, people are less aware of what Langston’s done so far this year. He’s added plenty of good weight, allowing him to improve his power and contact balance. He’s well on his way to his first 1,000-yard season, and he’s a guy who could continue to put up big numbers in an exciting stretch run of the season.
Despite being on the smaller side, Langston is a workhorse, averaging over 16 rushes per game last season for South Johnston. He was a touchdown machine down the stretch, scoring 15 times. What he lacks in elite top-end speed, he makes up for with toughness and an ability to pick up key yards.
