The 6’4 200-pound monster accounted for 44 receptions for 803 yards and 13 touchdowns through 9 games. He had 3 100+ receiving games and was consistently thrashing the defense. Hurd is a big body receiver who uses his length to go up, extend and come down with the catch. He demonstrates good athletic ability by his very good jumping, good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. Hurd shows good mental processing as well by finding the void in a zone and exploiting it. He will extend his arms out to gain the 1^st down as well. Hurd will also come back to underthrown balls and catch them. Henry has very good ball tracking and catching skills. He uses his long arms to pluck the ball out of the air. He’ll even catch over the heads of defensive backs. Hurd has very good body control. An example of this was a toe-tap in the side of the endzone for a touchdown. He will adjust his frame either above or below and come down with the catch. Hurd excels at contested catches and 50/50 balls. If it gets thrown up to him, he’s usually coming down with it. He uses his big body and physicality to bulldoze through defenders for extra yardage. Hurd is very strong and consistently breaks a lot of tackles.
