Adams has rotated in the past 2 years for Roncalli with the anticipation of getting the reigns this fall. He came out on Sunday and tested well and looks to be ready for his opportunity. He’s not the biggest back coming in Sunday at 5’8″ 165lbs, but he’s not a power back. He’s a quick one-cut speedy back who can find creases and exploit them. He ran a fairly respectable 4.86 40-yard dash both times, a 4.43 shuttle, and a 6.85 L-drill. All of which back what his tape shows. He’s got wiggle and speed and once he gets into the open field he will do damage.
