Caiden Hinkle Caiden Hinkle 6'3" | 225 lbs | RB DeKalb | 2025 State IN – DeKalb – RB – 6’3″ 225lbs
Hinkle is coming off a sophomore year that saw him put up over 1000 total rushing yards and 8 TDs, without anyone seemingly batting an eye. He’s a really big back standing at 6’3″ 225lbs and plays like it. He’s violent, lowers his shoulders, and can churn out really tough-earned yards. I do think he moves fairly well for his size, but also think some schools could see him at TE. He’s a good athlete who is clearly great with the ball in his hands. I wonder if that same ability translates down the field if he’s running routes. He’s someone I think who could do a great deal of damage in the seams. Either way, DeKalb has quite the advantage over the next few years with him carrying the ball. Where Hinkle ends up playing collegiately is likely TBD, but with his size, speed, athleticism, and production, it’s only a matter of time until his name picks up traction everywhere.

Coltyn McNabb Coltyn McNabb 6'1" | 180 lbs | RB North Daviess | 2025 State IN – North Daviess – RB – 6’1″ 180lbs
McNabb has been a significant relief for North Daviess since he stepped onto the field. On offense, defense, and Special Teams he’s been an impact player. This past season he worked his way into the rotation in the backfield and began to take control early on. He’s a bigger back who makes good reads near the line. He’s decisive in where he wants to go and has the body control to get where he needs to. This past season you could argue he had his breakout when he put up a fairly solid 756 rushing yards and 8 TDs. He broke a long run of 61 yards and showed he has that breakaway speed you want a back to have. He then added 41 total tackles, 5 TFLs, and 1 sack on defense moving around the second level. This fall, however, I feel like he’s got a much bigger slice of the offense potentially coming his way. Being an underclassman and showing the versatility he has to this point only bodes well for his long-term development. If McNabb came out and had over 1000 rushing yards and then 60+ tackles, I wouldn’t be surprised. Big things are coming his way if he keeps playing and developing the way he is.

Henry Adams Henry Adams 5'9" | 170 lbs | RB Roncalli | 2025 State IN – Roncalli – RB – 5’9″ 160lbs
Adams is heading into this season with a clear opportunity. The leading rusher is gone as he rewrote the record books for Roncalli. Adams was his backup this past season and looked really good. He’s a shifty back who is really good at finding space. He’s not a big back so it’ll be interesting to see how he can handle a big workload, but to this point, there’s never been a concern. Roncalli will have a new QB and a new starting RB this fall, so they will need to rely on each other. Buchanan is incredibly talented and knows how to spread the ball around. Adams and his ability to come out of the backfield could be paramount this fall as they work together. Adams has all the tools to be a fantastic back. His ability to pick up things on the fly and make plays will be huge. In his limited opportunities this past season, he put up 255 rushing yards and 4 TDs. With the lead back open and Adams having that experience, he’s the clear favorite to take command and break out in a big way. In a few months, if Roncalli has a new high-flying offense, Adams will be a big reason why.
