About Hayes

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Tough WR with excellent hands and body control. Specializes in beating zone defenses and sees the field at an elite level.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am extremely competitive and I have a drive to do what it takes to improve. I’m tough and resilient so I handle adversity well. I have a chill personality so I do not get too high or too low.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received a Student of Character award and a couple A/B honor roll awards a few years ago. I have played on Valleys Finest 7v7 club team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I help my team at all of their volunteer events in our community. I have volunteered my time at the food bank to help pack food for hungry families. I encourage my teammates to keep working and help boost their confidence when they face adversity.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Last year a won the starting WR position on varsity and started 4 games. I made a couple mistakes during the 4th game and they did not start me the next few games so I have been motivated to not make mistakes on routes and blocking again.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college that fits me and allows me to prepare myself for a career.
