About Hayden
Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Hayden brings good length to the safety position, and that shows up in the way he covers ground and makes plays in the secondary. He’s not afraid to come downhill and deliver a hit, especially when he sees a ball carrier working into open space. On film, his ability to close the distance between himself and the football stands out, along with the way he uses his frame to challenge passes and disrupt throwing lanes. Hayden plays with an aggressive mindset but also shows the awareness to recognize what’s developing in front of him. Whether he’s helping over the top in coverage or stepping up to make a tackle near the line of scrimmage, he gives his defense a versatile option on the back end.
