Nelson has received interest from various programs including Louisiana Tech and University of Houston. Hastin would be a great athlete to compete in 7on7s and do incredibly well.

He can beat press coverage with his speed, find the seams within zone coverages and run a near perfect route. Nelson Finished the season with similar stats to that of Minnesota Vikings Adam Thielen. Hastin Finished the season with over 730 receiving yards, which is high for high school ball, and 7 Touchdowns to his name. His performances this year were enough to propel his team deep into the playoffs and display his unique skills. Recently this month Nelson was invited on an official visit to the Oregon Ducks Game and another to Vanderbuilt. This is an especially talented athlete who has another year to prove his potential however many are already noticing his skill. For this reason Hastin is rewarded with 2A’s Top 3 Receivers Award.
