Lage is a big-framed quarterback who looks the part and has a lot of traits you like to see early. He’s got a strong arm that can stretch the field, but he isn’t just trying to overpower every throw. His footwork is good for a younger quarterback, he has a quick release, and he shows good ball placement when throwing into tighter windows. I like how he handles pressure too. He doesn’t panic when the pocket starts closing and will stand in there and take a hit to deliver the football. He can throw with anticipation and get the ball out before his receiver fully comes open. There’s a lot to like with Lage, and I could easily see him becoming one of the top quarterbacks in the class.

Harrison Lage is a tall, strong-armed quarterback for Kentucky Country Day (KCD). Lage pieced together some impressive highlights on film during his freshman season. His arm strength has the potential to take the top off of defenses over the next three years. His timing is impressive, and he has a quick release to boot. He does a good job of stepping into his throws and standing tall in the pocket under pressure. Lage also has quick hips, which help him stay elusive on the move or while going through his progressions.

For the better part of the last decade, Kentucky Country Day has had success in terms of wins and losses on the varsity level. With some niece pieces coming in with this freshman class–eight listed on the varsity level, to be exact–the future may have continued success. He comes with pistol-like feet in the pocket and a Howitzer for a right arm.
