A versatile Middle-Georgia defensive lineman with power and natural quickness, Sims brings a promising frame at 6-foot-3 245-pounds who shows strong hands, plays with good leverage, and is one of the top run-stuffing defensive linemen in the region for the 2027 class. He’s big, moves the pocket, and holds his own against double-teams. He plays hard, is a strong tackler, and is coming off a productive 2024 season as a sophomore where he made 46 tackles and seven TFLs. His best football is way ahead of him and he could be in store for a giant 2025 season.
