Wise lit up the stat sheet his first two years starting, however after a down year he’s looking to show Colorado his skills once again. Measures in at 6’0 175-pounds, he went 39/79 for 576 yards with a 49.4% completion rate, 3TD, and 2 INT. He has good athleticism due to his good speed, change of direction, balance, and acceleration. Wise has a big arm with a smooth release and throwing motion. Pair that with his good touch on his throws allowing his receivers a nice ball to catch. Wise does a good job in the pocket. Uses his good progression speed to find the open man downfield. If no one’s open, he’ll scramble around, extending the play or use his athleticism to run for the first down. I’m intrigued to see how he does this upcoming season, he has all the tools needed to succeed.

Wise measures in at 6’0 175-pounds, playing QB for Centaurus. This past season he went 39/79 for 576 yards with a 49.4% completion rate with 3 TDs and 2 INT. Good athletic ability due to good acceleration, speed, change of direction, and balance. Wise has very good throw power with a very good release. Smooth throwing motion. Wise has good touch on his throws. He has good pocket presence, going through his progressions to find the open man. He has good ball placement skills, throwing it in stride of the receiver. He has good scramble ability as well. If no one’s open, he’ll run around to create extra time allowing his receiver to get open. This season wasn’t normally what he has produced the previous 2 seasons. I believe Wise will have a bounce back season, and show everyone what he is made off. Great young QB who had a down season.

At 6’0 175, Halas shows great command and leadership of his Centaurus offense. To start, Halas’ motion has made strides since his Soph season, continuing to shorten his motion showing less of a looping motion from the previous year. Halas’ biggest strength is his ability to throw on the run, doing a great job being on time and accurate moving left and right. He does a great job aligning his shoulders to his target and processing half-field high-low reads on the move. While in the pocket, Halas shows a willingness to hitch up while getting through full field reads and consistently finding open targets vs Zone coverage.

Wise made his mark by stuffing the stat sheet with 2,453 passing yards and 23 touchdowns. He thrives in the intermediate to deep passing game, showing the ability to thread the needle and fit passes into tight windows. His precision in leading receivers into perfect positions allowed his playmakers to make big plays after the catch. Wise also showcased field awareness, effectively manipulating defenders with his eyes and excelling as a timing quarterback, hitting receivers in stride as they were coming out of their breaks. While he threw 14 interceptions, he has the potential to take a significant leap this season and attract attention from scouts.

is another stud 2027 QB. He accounted for 198/321 for 2453 yards, 61.7% completion rate, 23 touchdowns, and 14 INT. Wise has very good throw power. He can launch the ball with ease. Very good touch to throw the ball over the LB’s head. Very good release, with a quick wind up and fast spiral. He’s able to fit the ball in tight spaces. Wise has very good mental processing. If his first guy isn’t open, he goes through his progressions finding the open man. He stands poised and stays accurate under pressure. Good accuracies at all 3 levels, however he has a very good deep ball. Very good ball placement skills, meeting the WR in stride. Wise steps into his throws in the pocket. However, he has good athletic ability to roll out left or right. He rolled out left and fit the ball in between 3 defenders. Wise has good accuracy on the run. I’m very impressed with his playstyle, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was a top 10 QB next year.
