About Guy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Explosive, dynamic playmaker with speed, quickness, and vision. As a WR, I excel in route running, clutch catches, and turning short gains into big plays. As a DB, I have strong ball skills and awareness for key interceptions. As a return specialist, I can flip the game in an instant.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Relentless competitor with a winner’s mindset. I bring energy, discipline, and focus to every game and practice. I thrive under pressure, stay composed in big moments, and push myself to improve every day. My work ethic, leadership, and determination set me apart on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am actively involved in my church and enjoy giving back to my community. Outside of sports, I focus on academics, leadership, and personal development. I also help with my family’s small business, A-1 Evans Chimney Service, which has taught me responsibility, work ethic, and business skills.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example on and off the field, staying disciplined and pushing my teammates to improve. Playing multiple sports has strengthened my teamwork, communication, and adaptability. Overcoming my injury built resilience, and working in my family’s business taught me responsibility and problem-solving. I also value giving back through my church and community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced challenges with a transfer eligibility issue my sophomore year due to incorrect OHSAA guidance, which led to team penalties and unfair blame. In my junior year, a PCL injury in game six cut my season short. Despite these setbacks, I stayed focused, worked hard, and used them as motivation to come back stronger.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college with a strong football program, great coaching, and a competitive environment where I can develop as a player. Academically, I want a school that supports student-athletes and helps me succeed both on and off the field. A positive team culture and opportunities to grow as a leader are also important to me.
