Murphy is already really valuable rushing the passer as well- he has a variety of pass rush moves he uses to get to the quarterback and does so really often, consistently generating pressure and getting sacks.“

is a really talented defensive linemen in Flomaton’s 2027 class that plays with a real mean streak in the trenches. If there were one way to describe how Murphy plays defense it would be vicious. Murphy is able to explode off the line of scrimmage to make a ton of big plays in the opponents’ backfield- he has quick hands he uses to shed blocks rapidly, throws offensive linemen around with how strong he is, and has the athleticism to make some very impressive tackles both at and behind the line of scrimmage. Murphy is already really valuable rushing the passer as well- he has a variety of pass rush moves he uses to get to the quarterback and does so really often, consistently generating pressure and getting sacks. Keep an eye on Flomaton and more specifically Murphy, he made a whole lot of plays in his freshman season and is set up for a massive second year!
