Faulkner is also great at defending the run. He’s excellent at reading and reacting to plays, consistently putting himself in great position to fill in gaps and take down the ball carrier no matter where he initially lines up.“

Faulkner has been seeing a ton of attention in April, picking up offers from Austin Peay and Navy!

Faulkner has been slept on up until now, and I expect more schools will send offers his way now that the band-aid has been ripped off. He’s a talented defender with a ton to offer at the next level. You can see in his tape below:

Faulkner is a versatile, athletic player with a skillset that stays on the field every down. He is listed around 6’3 205, and holds that weight on a cut frame with room to grow. He will project out as an LB when you factor in future growth, but he has the athleticism to play in space. He has plenty of reps outside of the box, both as a safety and in the slot. He has range in coverage and can carry routes downfield. He is still growing as a thumper, but he is aggressive in his fits and engages blockers physically. I really like this kid, and he isn’t getting enough love.

Faulkner had another huge year this past fall, recording 121 total tackles (9 for loss), one sack, 4 PBUs, one INT, 4 FF (3 FRs), and one TD.

Faulkner had another dominant showing this past week against Theodore. He recorded 9 total tackles and an INT, flying around the field all night long.

Faulkner came up big in his team’s 35-14 win over Davidson. Ending the game with 9 total tackles (7 solo) and one fumble recovery.
