An athletic and mobile signal caller with solid passing mechanics and accuracy, Hainer’s most impressive offensive skills were on full display in the Panthers’ 62-27 win over visiting Shelby Valley on Saturday, and he also managed to contribute defensively with a timely interception and 24-yard return to set up a score. Completing 20 of 33 pass attempts for 368 yards and 4 touchdowns, he also proved himself a formidable run threat with 62 yards and another touchdown on 5 carries and 430 yards of total offense for the night. Having completed 76 of 147 pass attempts for over 1,100 yards and 11 touchdowns thus far this season, his 189.0 average yards per game ranks him 5th among all Class AAA passers and attests both to his arm talent and rapid developmental progression as a first-year starter. Also contributing 2 solo tackles, 1 assist and 1 interception defensively, his physicality and skill set also project favorably to next-level possibilities  at either strong safety or outside linebacker.
