About Gregory

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a very cerebral and instinctual player. I’m a student of the game and enjoy breaking down players and offensive tendencies. I have a nose for the ball and with an 81” wingspan I’m affecting plays and QBs that other players can’t. I have violent hands and a quick first step, and if I can’t beat you with my 1st or 2nd move then I’m perfecting my 4th and 5th to get off the block.

I’m typically very laid back, but when I step between the lines you better be wearing the same colored jersey.

Still one of the more slept-on defenders across the state for the 2026 class, Jackson doesn’t have ideal height or length, but he’s a natural pass-rusher and a menace to block for anyone lined up against him. He led the entire 2026 class in sacks last season as he got to the quarterback an eye-opening 15 times while adding 31 more QB hurries. He’s lightning quick off the snap, closes well on the ball-carrier and knows how to make play after play in the backfield. Look for him to be even better as a senior in 2025.
